The designed company head office is located in the city of St. Veit an der Glan, Carinthia, Austria. Apart from the existing road system no structure can be identified in the company park. Thanks to its dimensions and overall image the edifice stands out in the area – it is taller, broader and oriented towards south. The “otherness” is a reaction to the building’s function – it serves as headquarters of the Kioto company. When mirrored in the lake the building seems to be even mightier. The vast winter garden opens into the surrounding area offering unique view and increasing job effectiveness and quality.
