The ecologic office building is in the industrial area in Modena, Italy. The site is situated between two busy streets and three meters below their level. In the project the seemingly inconvenient situation has been turned into an advantage. From solar and ecological points of view the shape of the designed building is unique and impressive. The covered ground floor offers an area divided by plants convenient for exhibitions, workshops, shops, studios and café. Higher office floors above the street level have a special drop-like shape formed by wind and sun. As a result interesting form of the building is different from different angles. Strength of the expression of the building and its solar installations is an important element in the area built up by older buildings and the house serves as its center and landmark.
